Fall 2017 - Ferndale Friends Newspaper

I am honored to be asked to design the Fall 2017 cover of the Ferndale Friends newspaper.

As a part of the 2 person design team, it's my first cover. I tried to keep within the established aesthetic which is 'welcoming, 'hometown-ish', usually a collage' style composition and yet also went for a Fall theme.

This is newspaper is delivered to 1000's of porches across town. I felt that the fall leaves and bright seasonal colors would be something that people would also keep on their coffee tables in their homes. Maybe more people will read it then too!

Can't wait to see the final version on the streets. There's a few more things to add to this and then it's off to the presses!
