A few examples of the t-shirt designs I did for the 2020 Arnold Arboretum Lilac Sunday T-Shirt Design competition. The event occurs every year in May ad is a celebration of the historic Lilac bushes that have been growing in the Arboretum for 100's of years.
The design was meant to attract a wider demographic to the event and was meant to be fresh and modern.
An example of my work for the town newspaper Ferndale Friends. As a resident and home owner in Ferndale since the year 2000, it is a joy to be one of their official graphic designers. The page layouts are done in Page Plus software which I had to self-learn. The content is provided to me and I come up with the typography, layout, arrangements and final page artwork for insertion in to the master document.

I really enjoy the work I do for a local publishing house. They specialize in thrillers, spy and mystery novels which is all very exciting to an avid reader like myself. There is no excuse to not have a book on your nightstand. Design of book sets, Fall catalog cover, print and web adverts, and vertical banners. Most work is done remotely and the client is happy.

cultural camp

A design for a poster and matching set of postcards for a Summer Camp focused on Latvian language and culture in Michigan named "Garezers." The camps buildings and trails sit heavy in the hearts of all who go to this place - it's a generational place.
The cards are sold in the gift shop and the kids buy them to write home to family from camp.

Samples from my work in photographing some projects from my job as in house designer at Fieldstone A&E which had projects in Florida and Michigan. I use a Canon 7D camera and edit using HDR in Lightroom.

A variety of social media branding/campaign work I have done on multiple social media platforms which expanded the brands to new market audiences and grew brand awareness. My best stats to date are 5000 likes on a non-profit facebook site of which I am very proud.
