T-Shirt Design - Lilac Sunday 2020

A few examples of the t-shirt designs I did for the 2020 Arnold Arboretum Lilac Sunday T-Shirt Design competition. The event occurs every year in May and is a celebration of the historic Lilac bushes that have been growing in the Arboretum for 100's of years.

The design was meant to attract a wider demographic to the event and was meant to be fresh and modern. Emulating the popular music festival feel for the shirts, I was hoping to attract a hipster and family crowd to the children friendly event that nurtures an appreciation for the natural world and outdoors hands-on and "noses on" (lilacs smell lovely!) experiences.
