2022 AISES Conference Co-Presenter

As an Ally and member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), I had the opportunity to be accepted as a co-presenter at the 2022 National AISES Conference this year. For the past year and a half I have been volunteering as a Mentor in the AISES Full Circle Mentoring Program. I was matched through this program with a young Dine' architecture student who is studying at the University of Utah. We meet once a month and talk about career and educational goals, challenges and opportunities. It's been a great experience and impactful on both ends - we both have grown from the thoughtful conversations! This year we presented together to talk about our experience and share some knowledge so that maybe more people participate in this great program.
